Job Title – ACCOUNTS/ADMIN ASSISTANT
Job Specification
First Step is a family run business driven by traditional values. We specialize in contract hire, rentals of new vehicles and sales of used vehicles from our onsite showroom.
We are looking to employ a friendly and motivated individual with an eye to detail to join our accounts team. You will be working in our modern offices at Bolton, we have onsite parking and are close to the train and bus terminal on Trinity Street.
What the role involves:
. Data Entry – imputing information onto the company’s systems and working with data sets in Excel.
. Input of purchase ledger invoices and creating sales invoices
. Review and reconcile Debtors and Creditors and carry out credit control procedures
. Managing inbound customer queries regarding their accounts.
. Assisting with general accounts admin – supporting the wider team as needed
What we are looking for:
. Preferred knowledge of using Microsoft office – particularly Excel
. Preferred knowledge of Sage
. Confident speaker with strong and clear verbal communication
. Good level of literacy for professional communication with customers
. Strong work ethic
What’s on offer:
. Salary of between £22000.00 to £26000.00 depending on experience
. Hours are 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (1hour unpaid lunch)
. 30 days holidays a year including bank holidays (January – December)
