Accounts Admin Assistant (Training Provided)
Location: Office-based (Bolton, Greater Manchester)
Hours: Full-time – 9.00am – 5.30pm

Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 + AAT Training

About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, organised, and detail-focused Accounts Admin Assistant to join our accounts team. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their accounts or finance career who wants to learn properly, gain hands-on experience, and develop long-term within a growing business.
No formal accounts experience is required — full training will be provided, and we’ll teach you how we work from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices, sales invoices, and expenses
- Accurate data entry and maintenance of financial records
- Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciling supplier statements and supporting month-end processes
- Handling basic queries from suppliers and internal teams
- Filing, scanning, and digital document management
- Supporting the accounts team with ad-hoc administrative tasks
Skills & Experience
- No prior accounts experience required (admin experience is helpful but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Comfortable working with numbers and data
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
